Engels hit: oil depot burns even more intensely, city declares state of emergency (video)

Another tank at a Russian oil depot has apparently caught fire.

The oil depot in Engels , in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation, began to burn even more intensely by the evening after the night strike on January 8, and local residents also heard explosions again, Russian media reports.

According to one local resident quoted by the media, another tank caught fire at the oil depot. On social media, users complained about an unpleasant smell of burning in the air.

According to Russian publications, a state of emergency has been declared in Engels. It is also reported that two people have died as a result of the fire – they are fire service workers.

As is known, on January 8, at night, the Saratov region of Russia was subjected to a massive UAV attack, as a result of which an oil depot in Engels was hit. In the morning, Russian media reported that at least 40 explosions thundered in the city.
