According to a new report from Wired, Elon Musk’s “X” appears to be violating the sanctions that the US government has in place against Iran by selling blue check marks to government officials in the country. Typically, world leaders and government officials are given gray check marks at no cost, but the officials in Iran all appear to be paying “X” for the service, which is a direct violation of the sanctions. This sounds like the kind of thing that deserves a Congressional hearing, as Farron Cousins explains.
