Lukashenko stated that the words of EU representatives about “elections” in Belarus are “groveling before the United States.”

This morning, January 26, the so-called presidential elections began in Belarus. In particular, the current dictator Alexander Lukashenko took part in them , who said that he does not care what the West thinks about it, writes the state propaganda news agency “BelTA” .

Lukashenko said that he had already managed to vote in the presidential elections. According to him, he cast his vote for more than one candidate.

“I must honestly admit to you – for everyone!” he said.

The Belarusian dictator also noted that he doesn’t give a damn whether the EU countries recognize the “elections.”

“Whether you recognize these elections there in the European Union or not is a matter of taste. Believe me, I swear, I don’t give a damn whether you recognize our elections or not. The main thing for me is that the Belarusians recognize these elections and that they end peacefully, as they began. That’s the main thing. And then it’s up to you. If you recognize them, we will react, we will thank you. If you don’t recognize them, well, you haven’t recognized them,” he told journalists.

In addition, Lukashenko believes that statements by EU representatives about “elections” in Belarus are “groveling before the United States.”

“This is groveling before the big brothers in Washington. If you really have such a principled attitude towards the elections, tell them something about the American elections. It’s scary,” he emphasized.

The Belarusian dictator’s words were a response to the statement by EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Spokesperson Anitta Hipper, who called the so-called elections in the country “a sham.”

“It’s not an election if you already know who’s going to win,” she said.

In addition, the head of European diplomacy Kaja Kallas added that the European Union considers the presidential “elections” in Belarus to be fictitious. She noted that Brussels does not recognize the legitimacy of Lukashenko.

“Lukashenko has been in power for 30 years. Tomorrow he will appoint himself again in another sham election. This is an outright mockery of democracy,” she wrote on her page on the social network X.

The Belarus Segodnya publication   reported that 5,325 polling stations were formed today. They will be open to voters from 08:00 to 20:00 local time.

The Chairman of the Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko stated that during the so-called elections in the country, international observers are allegedly monitoring the electoral process in all regions. It is also claimed that representatives and heads of the Central Election Commission of the CIS countries and “far abroad” are present.

The publication clarified that the press conference of the CEC Chairman Igor Karpenko on the preliminary results of the vote is scheduled for January 27 from 02:30 to 03:00. The final press conference will take place at 11:00.

  1. Let’s see what he does when mafia land collapses in a heap and there is nobody to come to help him. He needs to look at what mafia land did to those other great allies when they needed help.
