The war in Ukraine is only bogging America down, says Elbridge Colby, a former national security advisor to the Trump administration. On this episode of Americano, Colby tells host Freddy Gray why the US should — and likely will — reduce its support to Ukraine and Europe, to focus on the increasing threat China poses over Taiwan. Europe, he says, can pick up the slack on its own continent. Colby has been tipped to become Trump’s national security advisor should he win in November this year.

The “I will solve it in 24 hours” bullshit claim seems to have been quietly dumped in favour of complete abandonment.
Colby is a bastard. He wants Ukraine kept out of Nato and is even critical of the minimal permission it has to strike inside Ukraine.
I never expected the orange gangster to hire anyone that was worth more than two bits. The rest of his cabinet will be just as worthless as he and Colby.
