The ‘efficient contact’ established between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky as Interfax-Ukraine reported citing Putin’s Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
“Between two presidents, actually, the working contact is already established, quite effective as the recent events showed,” he stated.
Putin’s spokesperson underlined that ‘the contact itself is not something remarkable, not sensational. “It is such a working, meticulous process,” Peskov explained.
He also reported that the possibility of the meeting of Putin and Zelensky (at the sidelines of the commemorative events in Jerusalem on January 23) ‘was ventilated’ but within the multilateral event ‘it is impossible to organize the separate meeting physically’.
Earlier, Dmitry Peskov excluded the possibility of making amendments to the Constitution that would provide the capability to incorporate annexed regions of Ukraine and Belarus into the Russian Federation.
As we reported earlier, Russia’s government has resigned, following President Vladimir Putin’s proposal for constitutional changes.

When Putin gets his forces out of Ukraine, all of Ukraine, then we can judge the contacts as effective. Until then, it’s just PR for the Capo of Russia.
