This is how Putin’s “Easter ceasefire” looks like right now in Kherson.

Anyone who believes russia has any intentions to stop the war is simply delusional.

During its broadcast of the Easter service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the American channel Fox News labeled Kyiv as a russian city.

The service, held in Kyiv, was aired alongside footage of the Easter celebration in Moscow, attended by Putin.

At first, the broadcast correctly identified the location as “Easter Service: Kyiv, Ukraine.” But after a brief pause, the caption was changed to “Easter Service: Kyiv, Russia.”

Some may dismiss it as a simple mistake — not worth reading too much into. But I disagree.

First, this incident clearly reflects the kind of people running Fox News today.

Second, the decision to air Easter celebrations from Moscow alongside those from Kyiv — essentially equating the aggressor with the victim — is a sign of complete moral bankruptcy.

…but why waste 30+ minutes of airtime on this?
And why call Kyiv a Russian city?

☝ That’s not some slip-up. Mistakes don’t hang around on-screen that long. That was deliberate, and they knew exactly what they were doing.

Yet they spelled Kyiv correctly.

That wasn’t a mistake, it’s what they really think. When Putin’s fantasies start airing on Fox News, it starts looking like state-sponsored fan fiction.

Sad. Christ condemns this.

Just read the “Easter message” of President Trump. I am sorry, but there is nothing Christian or Christ-like in it. On the contrary, it is filled with hate and bitterness. Really sad to see this.

UEFA honored the memory of a former russian national team footballer who was killed in the war in Ukraine.

Aleksei Bugaev ended his football career in 2010. In September 2024, he was sentenced to nine years in prison for attempting to sell drugs. However, he was later conscripted and sent to fight in Ukraine.

During the UEFA Congress in Belgrade, FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated that he hopes for russia’s swift return to international football competitions.

He said: “As peace negotiations in Ukraine are ongoing, I hope that soon we will be able to turn the page — to also bring Russia back to the football arena. This would mean that everything has been resolved.”

Yes — “everything has been resolved” and tens of thousands of Ukrainians killed by russians will somehow come back to life. What a morally bankrupt position.

To make matters worse, UEFA recently denied Ukraine’s request to officially commemorate the Ukrainians killed in recent russian attacks during the match between Romania and Ukraine.

This Easter, we remember that the resurrection of Jesus is not just a symbol — it is a victory. A victory of life over death, of light over darkness, of hope over despair.

Even in the midst of war, pain, and uncertainty, the message of Easter remains unchanged: evil will not have the final word. The stone has been rolled away. The grave is empty. Our Redeemer lives.

To every Ukrainian family grieving, every soldier defending, every child praying — God sees you. He is near. And He promises: “I will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” (Revelation 21:4)

The same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive and active — bringing healing, justice, and resurrection to hearts and nations.

Hold on to hope. The dawn is coming.

This Easter is very special for me and my wife, Alina.

Exactly one year ago, on Easter morning, we found out we were expecting a child — a miracle baby.

We had been on a long and difficult journey, waiting over ten years to become parents. There were times when we thought this day would never come. Moments when we were afraid to hope, only to see our dreams crushed again. But then, a miracle entered our lives.

Today, we are celebrating Easter with our 5-month-old daughter, Estella.

As I write this, my eyes are filled with tears of joy. All I can say is: God is good. Miracles are real. Christ is Risen!
