He notes that this facility is the only one in Crimea that directly belongs to the Administration of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The operation around the Foros sanatorium would definitely not have been possible without local partisans, and this is an indicator of whose Crimea really is .
This was stated on Radio NV by Yevhen Dykyi, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, former company commander in the Aidar battalion, and director of the National Antarctic Research Center.

Answering a question about the strike on the Foros sanatorium, he noted that “such an operation definitely would not have been possible without local partisans,” because the drone takes a long time to reach Foros from mainland Ukraine.
“That is, they knew enough in advance about who exactly would be under special guard there to prepare a separate operation. And who was there is really interesting. Because “Foros” is not just like that. The fact is that, you say, it is an FSB facility: globally, perhaps, you can say so, because the entire current Russian government is FSB,” Dykyi noted.
He added that this facility is the only one in Crimea that “directly belongs to the Russian Presidential Administration.” “You could say that whoever was there, they were personal guests of Vladimir Vladimirovich. And these guests didn’t have dinner. And this means that they knew in advance who would be there. I think they even knew the menu, what they would be fed,” the ex-commander said.
Thus, Dykyi noted, it became clear that “within one dinner party, we manage to fly there,” and that “even having such a very special event with very special guests at a facility that almost personally belongs to the president, and they are not able to cover it from the sky, they are simply not able to provide air defense even for such a facility.”
“But still, the main thing is that after so many years of occupation, there are still people living there who help us congratulate them, “decorate” dinner with fireworks. This is also an indicator. This is an indicator of who Crimea really is and who they really have been waiting for as liberators,” Dykyi said.
