The court divided the bail in the amount of five million euros into parts. The billionaire must pay one fifth immediately.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov was banned from leaving France for six months – until March 2025.
As the French magazine Paris Match writes with reference to informed sources, the court divided the bail in the amount of five million euros into parts: the billionaire must pay one million immediately, the remaining 4 – to be paid in five monthly installments.
As one of the sources said, the Telegram office “never received a notice about the search” for Durov. Instead, there was a search warrant, not for the arrest of its leader.
The magazine calls Durov the cyberlord of the world, who “starts with 200 push-ups and 100 squats before taking an ice bath” every morning. In Dubai, he rented a 1,400-square-foot villa for $84,000 a month. Now Durov has instructed his assistants to find him a place to live in Paris – and “the budget is not limited,” sources say.
Detention of Pavlo Durov
As UNIAN reported, Pavel Durov, CEO and founder of Telegram, was detained in France the day before. He is accused of improper moderation of the messenger and refusal to cooperate with French law enforcement officers.
The Telegram team issued a statement in which it is reported that they comply with the laws of the European Union, and Durov himself has nothing to hide. Meanwhile, the Verkhovna Rada again raised the issue of introducing regulation of the Russian messenger in Ukraine .
