The Russians are painting over the names of dry cargo ships and tankers.

At night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s unmanned systems struck five illegal Russian vessels in the temporarily occupied ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk, as well as in coastal waters. The vessels were transporting, among other things, stolen Ukrainian grain.
This was stated by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), Robert (Magyar) Brovdi. “The names of dry cargo ships & tankers painted over by Black Sea marauders and the radars turned off, with the aim of quietly stealing Ukrainian grain, transferring military cargo and fuel, no longer provide for either the long-term survivability of large, stationary targets classified as military, or the regularity of transportation,” the commander wrote in Telegram .
He stressed that the occupiers’ smuggling logistics must be stopped. On the night of June 5, dry cargo ships and a tanker were hit by Ukrainian unmanned systems equipped with good optics and powerful combat time.
Defeat of Russian ships
Recall, on June 4, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ SBS hit the project 10410 border patrol ship “Svitlyak”. This happened in the settlement of Yurkine. The purpose of the unit is to control and protect ports and ships, create a tactical air defense and anti-submarine defense line. The length of the ship is 49.5 m, armament is 16 sets of “Igla” MANPADS, an AK-176 artillery mount, 14.5 machine gun mounts and six-barreled anti-aircraft guns.
