On the night of Tuesday, April 28, a new drone attack was reported in Tuapse, Russia (Krasnodar Krai). The drones once again targeted an oil refinery and a marine terminal.
Several fires broke out after the strikes. Local authorities reported the threat of a drone attack, but have not yet commented on the consequences.
It is previously known that at least four oil or fuel tanks caught fire in Tuapse.
Previously, a tank farm located next to the ELOU-AVT-12 installation was attacked, according to OSINT analyst ASTRA.

Tuapse Oil Refinery is an enterprise in the Krasnodar Territory, operated by LLC “RN-Tuapse Oil Refinery”. The plant is a single production complex with a marine terminal of the oil product supply enterprise of PJSC “Rosneft” – LLC “RN-Marine Terminal Tuapse”. It is part of the Rosneft oil company.
Ukraine had previously attacked oil processing and storage facilities in Tuapse on April 16 and 20. After the second strike, the Tuapse refinery stopped its only oil processing unit with a capacity of 12 million tons per year. Only on April 24 did the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory report that the fire on the territory of the sea terminal had been completely extinguished.

As OBOZ.UA reported, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has clarified the results of the strikes on oil refining facilities in the Russian cities of Yaroslavl and Tuapse. These were strikes carried out on April 20 and 26, 2026, which resulted in damage to equipment and destruction of tanks.
In particular, the destruction of 24 and damage to four tanks as a result of the attack on 04/20/2026 in the area of the Tuapse oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation was confirmed.

If this strike is about as successful as the previous ones, we will see the final death of this facility.
