On the night of September 11, drones massively attacked the Russian city of Saratov. After a series of explosions in the city, severe fires broke out in the area of the industrial zone. The Ukrainian Osint community suggests that the Ukrainian Armed Forces drones hit the refinery and the Ozon hub in the Russian city.

Officially, the local authorities only warned the townspeople about the “drone threat”, and have not yet reported on the consequences of the attack. In turn, the Osint community Exilenova+ has collected some good videos from Saratov and claims that as of now, at half past four in the morning, both the refinery and Ozon “continue to operate”.

What preceded

According to the calculations of the Ukrainian Osint community, the Saratov Oil Refinery has been attacked by Ukrainian drones at least 16 times.

The last time, as OBOZ.UA reported, this happened on the night of September 8, when the entire Saratov region was subjected to another attack by drones. At that time, local residents also reported a series of loud explosions, after which a large fire broke out in the area of the industrial zone.

In the town of Engels, located near Saratov, residents also reported a series of loud explosions, flashes in the sky, and the sound of sirens. Engels is also regularly targeted by drone attacks due to the strategic military airfield Engels-2 located there.
