In particular, at around 02:00, the Governor of the Saratov Region Roman Busargin announced the threat of a UAV attack in the region.

“The Ministry of Defense has received information about the threat from UAVs. Local warning systems can operate in places of possible threat. All emergency services are on full alert,” he noted.

According to Astra, the Saratov refinery has already been attacked at least 16 times.

Meanwhile, drone attacks on the border region of Russia’s Belgorod region killed one person and injured seven others, local authorities said, Reuters reports .

In particular, one person was killed by a drone explosion at an unnamed facility in the city of Novy Oskol, east of the city of Belgorod. Five more people were injured in various settlements.

“Another man was killed when a drone hit his car in Shebekino, just across the Ukrainian border. A woman riding in the car was injured,” the report added.
