As UNIAN was told by Inna Verba, a spokeswoman for the Odessa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Russians attacked the city with drones.

According to the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, in one of the city’s districts, garages caught fire as a result of the attack, and the fire has already been extinguished. Windows were broken in nearby houses.

“An operational headquarters is operating on site, where residents receive assistance and consultations,” Lysak noted.

At another location, he said, private homes were damaged – that’s where a 23-year-old man was injured.

“As of 7:00, it is known that five private houses and a dormitory were damaged in the Kyivskyi district. The debris is being cleared. Tram tracks have already been restored, and transport operations have not stopped,” the official said.

Also in the Khadzhibey district, where the effects of the attack were also recorded, the area around the house has already been cleaned, Lysak added .

According to the head of the Odessa OVA, Oleh Kiper, the attack overnight damaged, among other things, multi-storey residential buildings, a parking lot with garages, and a private residential building, which caught fire. According to photos published by Kiper, cars were burned down.

According to eyewitnesses , the fire occurred in the residential area of ​​Cheremushki.
