At night, unknown drones attacked the city of Engels, Saratov region of the Russian Federation: a massive fire broke out at an industrial enterprise. Residents of Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan), where a fire engulfed the Orgsintez plant, also complained about the UAV attack.
Both cases were confirmed by regional authorities, who assured within an hour of the explosions that all consequences had been eliminated. At the same time, Russians continued to publish footage of large-scale fires online.
First, Saratov Telegram channels stated that residents were woken up by sirens in the region in the middle of the night – around 04:00 local time. After some time, the sounds of explosions were heard in the regional center and neighboring Engels, claiming: “the air defense system is working.” Later, there was talk of a fire.
“A few minutes ago, eyewitnesses heard about 10 explosions over Engels. Now smoke is visible over one of the districts,” Russian publics confirmed.

Later, videos and photos appeared explaining that the attacked enterprise was on fire. Saratov residents published footage of a fire in the city located across from them on the left bank of the Volga, which the “cotton” had visited just a week ago.

Governor Roman Busargin confirmed damage to an industrial plant in the city, saying emergency services were “working in an intensified mode.”

An hour later, locals were complaining in Telegram channels that sirens were sounding again in Saratov and Engels.
Rosaviatsia announced the temporary closure of Saratov’s Gagarin Airport for flights. The local administration announced the transfer of schools to distance learning due to the threat of a UAV attack.

The fire in Engels was only getting worse.
At the same time, Tatarstan public media reported that “the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to attack” the Orgsintez plant (officially producing organic synthesis products) in Kazan. According to local residents, a major fire broke out there as well, and smoke could be seen pouring from different parts of the city.
“The debris of the UAV fell on the territory of a chemical industry enterprise, a fire broke out there. Rescuers are currently working on the site,” the Russians claimed, publishing footage of the large-scale fire.

The authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan confirmed the damage. According to them, at 05:20 in the suburbs of Kazan as a result of a UAV attack, “a gas tank caught fire.” They say that no one was injured as a result of the incident, and emergency services, which quickly arrived at the scene, “eliminated the consequences.”
As OBOZ.UA reported, on the evening of January 13, the Russians announced an attack with missiles and UAVs in the Bryansk region: previously, a chemical plant named after the 50th anniversary of the USSR in the village of Siltse was hit there. Residents of the Tula region of the Russian Federation also complained about a massive drone attack .

Mafia land gets another beating!
“…regional authorities, who assured within an hour of the explosions that all consequences had been eliminated.”
Think the opposite of what mafia authorities say, and you get the picture.
“The fire in Engels was only getting worse.”
Isn’t that grand?! Maybe mafia land WILL burn up.
Leveling Engels is helping to keep Ukrainian skies clear of nazis.
