On the night of October 3, drones damaged several apartment buildings and private homes in Kaluga. According to Kaluga Region Governor Vladislav Shapsha, several people were injured in the drone attack: they suffered minor shrapnel wounds from broken glass, but none required hospitalization.
Video footage taken by eyewitnesses, analyzed by ASTRA , shows broken windows and damaged balconies in several residential buildings. According to the publication’s analysis, one of them is located at 1 3rd Akademichesky Proezd. Other footage shows damage to a building at 26 Minskaya Street. Local Telegram channels are also publishing videos showing damage to another new building at 27 Minskaya Street, which is not yet visible in satellite images or panoramas. Additionally, a private home was damaged in the Medynsky District, Shapsha reported. The regional governor also emphasized that 14 drones were “destroyed” over the Kaluga Region overnight.
A total of 218 Ukrainian drones were “intercepted and destroyed” over Russia on the night of October 3, the Defense Ministry press service announced. According to the ministry, the drones were shot down over the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, and Oryol regions, as well as the Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, and Tula regions, the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, occupied Crimea, and the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

It was only collateral damage in an attack that targeted other cockroach assets. But I don’t mind if a few civilian cockroaches get to feel what their war is like.
