In Rostov-on-Don, Russia, after a nighttime UAV attack on July 5, a terminal on the territory of an oil products factory caught fire. Although local authorities claimed only about “landscape” fires and “downing” of ten drones over the region.
The Russians published a video of the arrival and the “cotton” after it. They say that it is the “oil truck” that is burning in the city.
According to eyewitnesses, drones and loud explosions were heard in Rostov-on-Don, as well as in Primorsk-Akhtarsk, on Friday night. It is noted that some of them may have been the work of air defense.
Some Russian publications write that the oil terminal allegedly caught fire after “a drone was shot down” over it.
“This oil tanker is on fire, the anti-aircraft defense has shot it down, the ambulance and fire brigade are approaching,” eyewitnesses commented.
But others said that it was about an arrival – OJSC “NZNP Filia Rostovskyi” on the Left Bank of the Don between Rostov and Bataysk was hit. After the explosion, they shared a video of a powerful fire on the territory of the object – the fire could be seen from afar.
At the same time, the governor of the Rostov region, Vasyl Golubev, said that “10 UAVs were shot down by air defense forces” over the region. Operational duty services informed him that as a result of the air attack and allegedly just the fall of the drone debris, “landscape fires were recorded” on the left bank of the Don and in the Azov district. They did not mention the oil terminal. They also said that there were no victims, although the information is still being clarified.
We will remind that on the night of July 5, there was also unrest in Primorsko-Akhtarsk of the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, from where the Russian military often launches “Shahedy” over Ukraine. According to the Russians, the city was allegedly attacked by drones, which caused “civilian objects” to be damaged due to falling debris.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, on July 4, the Tambov gunpowder plant in the city of Kotovsk (RF) was hit as a result of the operation of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The consequences of the hit, the degree of damage and information about the losses of the enemy are clarified.
