Drones attack military-logistics complex of russian Defense Ministry near Moscow

On the night of May 7, drones attacked the military-logistics complex “Nara” of the russian Defense Ministry, located in the city of Naro-Fominsk, Moscow Oblast. This is reported by monitoring channels.

Local residents reported the sounds of aircraft flying over, a series of explosions and the operation of air defense systems in several areas of the region. The videos published on the Internet show smoke rising in the territory of military camp No. 3, where a large-scale logistics facility with an area of about 200 hectares is deployed. This complex is a strategically important node that provides automated storage and distribution of military cargo for the armed forces of the aggressor country.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced the shooting down of 11 drones that were allegedly heading towards the russian capital. According to him, emergency services are working at the sites of the debris, but he did not announce the exact consequences of the hits.

At the same time, the russian Defense Ministry provided much larger figures, claiming the alleged destruction of 347 Ukrainian drones over various regions of russia during the night. Despite the official statements of the russian side about the successful repelling of the attack, footage from Naro-Fominsk indicates that a hit was made on the territory of a military facility.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of today, May 1, the Special Operations Center “Alpha” of the Security Service of Ukraine struck an oil refinery in Tuapse. As a result of the hit of drones on the territory of the enterprise, a large-scale fire broke out.

This is the fourth attack on an oil refinery in the past two weeks. The Ukrainian military carried out the first strike on Tuapse on April 16. After each attack, a large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the tank farm, accompanied by the release of a large amount of combustion products of petroleum products.

As a reminder, on April 20, residents of Tuapse complained about “oil rain”. They published dozens of photos and videos on the Internet, in which clothes, windows and cars are covered with black drops.
