On Friday afternoon, March 14, unmanned aerial vehicles attacked a military training ground in the village of Mulino, in the Nizhny Novgorod region .

The video of the moment of the strike was published by the Russian Telegram channel ASTRA . According to it, the territory of a military training ground and a military unit was under attack. The Federal Air Transport Agency reported a temporary suspension of operations at the Nizhny Novgorod Strigino Airport, but local authorities did not comment on the attack.

Mulino is home to the 333rd Combat Training Center of the Western Military District of the Russian Federation, which specializes in training military personnel and units for combat operations. Russia claimed that the center allegedly has no analogues in the world – it was built together with the German concern Rheinmetall Defence Electronics:

“The center combines traditional training grounds with modern computer technology: complex simulators reproduce the battlefield in 3D, and the physical environment includes models of cities and towns for tactical exercises. The 34×27 km training ground is equipped with tank ranges, water training grounds, and various training areas.”

Earlier, journalists reported that a torture chamber had been set up on the territory of military unit 36994 in Mulino, where wounded Russian mobilized soldiers were handcuffed to a radiator and beaten.
