On the night of May 29, at least 20 explosions rocked the Russian city of Volgograd amid a massive drone attack. Russians complained that the explosions triggered car alarms.

Meanwhile, numerous images of the attack on Volgograd have circulated online. Videos and photographs show a glow in the sky and a fire that erupted after the explosions in the city.

Meanwhile, Russian public groups report that there were at least 20 explosions during the attack, and they continued to sound from 12:11 AM. Most of the explosions were heard in the central and southern parts of the city. Russians are complaining of bright flashes in the sky and claiming that the explosions triggered car alarms.
Regional Governor Andrei Bocharov reported that drones are allegedly launching massive attacks on energy and civilian infrastructure in the Volgograd Region. He also claimed that an apartment building was damaged in the attack.
“An apartment building was damaged, but there were no injuries or fires,” Bocharov said.
It is worth noting that at the time of publication, there was no official confirmation of strikes on the oil refinery in Volgograd.
As a reminder, on May 27, the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol caught fire after a series of explosions. Eyewitnesses reported seeing “black bags” after the incident.
Also on the morning of May 27, Russian Voronezh and Taganrog were attacked by missiles: after the explosions, smoke rose in the area of the airfields.
