Highly recommended. On first glance it seems like a dry subject, but thanks to the quality of the interviewer, who is the editor of Ukraine World: Volodymyr Yermolenko and his guest: Duncan Allan from Chatham House in London, it is a memorable and illuminating encounter. The conclusion is surprisingly upbeat.
One can’t but help thinking that if both these gentlemen were holding more senior, influential positions in their respective countries, it would be very good news all round.
Minsk II is dead and buried. Let it rot…
They can’t let it rot, because Russia will simply carry on killing indefinitely and Ukrainians can’t keep taking those losses, which is death by a thousand cuts.
1 and 2 were negotiated from a position of strength: Russia’s. And both were negotiated in bad faith by frog and kraut scum whilst Russia was slaughtering Ukrainians en masse. Anyway, if you can; listen to what these guys have to say: it’s worth your while. I tend to listen to podcasts when doing country walks.
