Those who do not like Zelensky, do you know what the alternative is if Zelensky goes? The real alternative supported by Ukrainian people, not the ridiculous options Trump administration is quietly negotiating?

It’s Valerii Zaluzhnyi, former commander-in-chief of Ukrainian army, and current ambassador of Ukraine in United Kingdom. With 10 years of experience of fighting Russia, who was commanding Ukrainian army in the most difficult time, when everyone was giving us 2 weeks.

He does not tell he’s going to run for President. Even when asked about this, he replies “It’s not time for the elections”. He did not deny he may run either, he keeps quiet. And if the people of Ukraine now want any replacement for Zelensky, it’s only him. All polls show this, it’s either Zelensky or Zaluzhnyi they will mostly vote for.

But here is the problem for the current US administration. He’s not going to surrender either, just like Zelensky. He is not a puppet to be manipulated. He has his vision and follows it, and he’s a grand strategist. He even confronted Zelensky (but not publicly) as they had different visions of how to fight the war. But publicly, he thanked Zelensky and was appointed as ambassador to UK. So he has shown he’s won’t do whatever you demand if it’s against his principles, even if it cost him his position. And that’s how real men talk to each other if they have disagreements, instead of making a cheap freak show for the whole world.

So it makes me laugh to read that US is having secret talks with other possible candidates, Poroshenko and Tymoshenko. It’s just ridiculous. Poroshenko has very low chances as former President, and he won’t surrender either, but may be just a bit more diplomatic. Recently, even he supported Zelensky, no matter how bad their personal relations are. Tymoshenko is a ghost from the past, the younger generation does not even know her. No chances for any of them. So their understanding of Ukrainian politics is worse than my understanding of quantum physics if they really bet on these two. And if you they consider someone else, we won’t support any candidate who offers surrender.

Google “Iron General”, and you’ll see that’s his nickname. It was given for a reason. Recently, he told what he thinks about US actions (he does not like them). Do Trump and Vance really want to talk to him instead of Zelensky? I recommend they think twice. Be careful with what you wish, you may get it…

PS: again, no one wants elections in Ukraine now. Even the potential competitors of Zelensky. We all understand unity is more important than differences. I am just describing “what if” situation.

Matthew Donley Before saying ” no reason” check what happened last time we surrendered in 1919. Then we were slaughtered like cattle. In 1933 they took the food away, 10 million died. And US was buying that cheap grain. Was a good deal, right? Like the one Trump offering. With no guarantees, Russia will recover and will come again.

So do not make meaningless comments if you do no know. More of us will die if we do not fight. Google photos from Bucha Massacre in 2022 to get a better idea what they want to do. They approved new mass graves standard before starting the war.

And don’t you think it is strange that I am living in Ukraine all these 3 years do not want the deal? You think I want to die or what? I want to live, and I see Trump’s actions may kill me.
