August 3 Morozovsk airfield attack

The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff confirmed the strike on the Morozovsk airfield in Rostov Oblast, along with attacks on oil depots in three other Russian regions on August 3.

The strike in Morozovsk targeted ammunition depots housing, among other things, guided aerial bombs.

Schemes media published satellite photos of Morozovsk on August 4, confirming the fires.

Most of the fighter jets previously stationed at the airfield were removed following the attack, according to journalists.

  1. This looks like a perfect job by the Ukrainians. I doubt even one missile remained useable after this latest failure by russian air defences.
