In the morning, public utilities began work, business owners are counting their losses, reports a correspondent for Dumskaya.

The entire street is covered in foam after large-scale fires were extinguished.

The owner of the car dealership, Inna, said that they opened it 17 years ago. When the alarm started, the surveillance cameras saw the “shahids” flying in. They went to the scene, but were unable to do anything.

Eduard worked as an installer in a store selling fireplaces and stone stoves. The man noted that all the equipment was destroyed. The extent of the damage is still being determined.  

According to the mayor’s office, the Novogorodskoye (Tairovskoye) cemetery was damaged, 50 graves were destroyed, 30 of which were completely destroyed.

In total, more than 80 rescuers eliminated all the consequences, said the press secretary of the State Emergency Service Marina Averina.

“Large-scale fires broke out. A shopping center, stores, and retail pavilions burned. A multi-story building was damaged. One of the city’s fire stations was also damaged,” added Marina Averina.
