The name of another Russian officer who was eliminated as a result of the Defense Forces’ strike on the Russian military base in Kursk has become known. On December 30, 35-year-old Major Ali Tsurov from Ingushetia was killed in Lgov, which Ukrainian soldiers hit with Storm Shadow missiles.
He was the deputy chief of staff of the 104th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 76th Division, stationed in the Pskov Region of the Russian Federation. This is written by blogger Necro Mancer.

“Deputy Chief of Staff of the 104th Special Forces Regiment, Major Tsurov Ali Khuseinovich, born in 1989 from Ingushetia, always made the right decisions, especially on December 30, 2024, when he climbed into the Lgov bunker in time,” he wrote.

Tsurov’s liquidation became known after he was buried in his small homeland, Ingushetia, on January 5. The death of the occupier was confirmed by the government of this republic within the Russian Federation. However, they did not specify the circumstances and place of the liquidation of the Russian major, limiting themselves to the vague wording of “death during a special military operation.”

“He (Tsurov. – Ed.) remained in the army after his military service, signing a contract. Ali is survived by his wife and son,” local publications wrote.

Tsurov served in the 104th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 76th Pskov Division. Earlier, two more occupiers from the same division, who were liquidated in Lgov, were identified: Russian lieutenant colonels Valery Tereshchenko and Pavel Maletsky. The first was the chief of the communications battalion, the second commanded the engineering battalion.
As a reminder, on December 30, Russia complained about explosions in the city of Lgov in the Kursk region. Footage of the “cotton” was published online and it was claimed that there were flights to the location of Russian troops. Acting Governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, announced another shelling and blamed Ukraine for this.
Later, data on the results of the attack on Lgov in Kursk region surfaced. The Russian publication Astra, citing sources, noted that the location of the Russian occupiers in this city was attacked by at least six Storm Shadow missiles. It is known that at least eight invaders were eliminated and 22 were wounded.
