Denmark believes that Europe, the United States, and other partners of Ukraine should lift restrictions on the use of long-range weapons.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated this at the GLOBSEC security conference in Prague.

According to Mette Frederiksen, discussing “red lines” when a country is at war is a big mistake that plays into the hands of the aggressor country.

Europe, along with the United States and other partners, has been saying for 2.5 years that they cannot allow Ukraine to lose this war.

Mette Frederiksen noted that they need to change the approach and instead think about the provision that will allow us to win.

“We should stop discussing restrictions on weapons for the Armed Forces and raise the issue on the contrary, i.e., provide everything necessary for victory. Of course, without forgetting to comply with international law. Ukrainians must be able to defend themselves, and self-defense includes using long-range weapons,” Mette Frederiksen stated.

The Danish Prime Minister called on those who do not properly support Ukraine’s victory to “understand how dangerous the situation is.”

It was previously reported that Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Presidential Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak could present the US with a list of long-range targets in Russia that could hit the Ukrainian Armed Forces if Washington lifts restrictions on the use of US weapons deep inside Russia.

For months, the United States has stated that lifting the restrictions would not be of strategic importance in a war because Russia has moved its most important targets, including aircraft, away from the border and well out of range.

However, Kyiv has identified several important targets that it can reach with US-supplied missiles, and the list and Umerov and Yermak’s visit should try to convince President Biden to change his mind.

Some Ukrainian and U.S. lawmakers say they see signs that some in the Biden administration are considering lifting the restrictions.

Ukraine’s Defense Minister said the country insists on lifting restrictions on the use of ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles.

  1. Denmark, Netherlands, and the Czech Republic…
If videos and images of slaughtered civilians and destroyed children’s hospitals, apartment buildings, and schools can’t move Biden, that old and weak coward, to drop his insane protective measure for the ruskie murderers, maybe the righteous decisions of some of NATO’s smallest countries can? What about the other spineless cowards, Scholz, Macron, and Starmer?
