Thousands of participants in the “March of Unity”, which is taking place in the afternoon of September 6 in the center of Minsk, approached the Palace of Independence, the residence of Alexander Lukashenko.
According to Tut.by, the demonstrators were blocked by a cordon of riot police, in front of which there is a chain of barbed wire. Special equipment is visible behind the security forces.

The protesters are behaving peacefully, but chanting “Go away.” Where is Lukashenka himself is unknown.
The “March of Unity” began after 14:00 on Independence Square (before it began, the police cordoned off the approaches to the square). Then the demonstrators moved along Lenin Street to the stele “Minsk – Hero City”, and from there – along Pobediteley Avenue to the Lukashenka’s residence.
As informs “Interfax” referring to the witnesses, came to the protest of more than 100 thousand people.
According to the online platform Golos, over 125,000 people are taking part in protest actions in Belarus. Rallies are also held in Grodno, Brest and Gomel.
The human rights center “Viasna” reports that at least 76 people were detained at the “March of Unity” in Minsk.

It looks very much like the people will not give up so easily. That’s good. They need to get rid of this dick-tator, who is ready to sell-out the country to the crime syndicate to the east. Belarus is a better country. It should not be allowed to be turned into yet another cesspool.
