Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion russia has attacked at least 25 Ukrainian hotels.

These strikes have affected at least 25 journalists and media workers. Reuters journalist and media specialist Ryan Evans was killed in one of them.

The russians typically target hotels at night, using cruise and ballistic missiles launched from Iskander systems. This is part of a broader strategy to intimidate foreign journalists and suppress coverage of russian war crimes in Ukraine.

Hotels are not military targets. Attacking them is a war crime.
