  1. Further proof that Mr Struan Stevenson is absolutely correct in his article in The Scotsman.
There should be worldwide revulsion at this and finally a real determination to bring nazi putlerstan to its knees.

    • Absolutely! The entire security system since 1945 has been based on preventing another Hitler and here we are again. We didn’t learn anything from Chamberlain and in fact we’ve doubled down on his appeasement policies. Evil must be defeated quickly and fervently, not toyed or negotiated with.

      • Again I should remind our American brothers that Chamberlain was not an appeaser. He alone declared war against two monstrous powers and we were alone for two years. He declared war over Poland; a country with which we had no treaty and no critical interests. Furthermore, both of our evil opponents had no designs on us; they just wanted to carve up Europe between each other.
In fact Chamberlain bought us a few months valuable time to build up our woefully inadequate military industrial complex.
Being a very mild fellow he was unsuited for running a war. Hence, cometh the hour, cometh the man: Churchill, who in what were known as his “wilderness years” had been warning anyone who would listen of the dangers of naziism. But of course no one did listen. Until it was too late.
People like John McCain and Mitt Romney were the modern analogues of Churchill. Romney’s statement that “The US’s biggest Geo-Political foe is Russia” was met with sneering and derision: “The 1980’s want their policy back” said the eventual election winner: Obama.

  2. Indeed collectively we have not learned from history, it reared it’s ugly head once again and repeated itself.
