Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have reduced the number of Russian occupation army by 1,240 invaders. Russia’s total combat losses in manpower amount to
1,332,950 people.

Hundreds of enemy equipment and weapons were also eliminated. Updated data on Russian losses was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian losses per day and for the entire period of the full-scale invasion

In the morning summary of May 2, the General Staff reported that the day before, Ukrainian soldiers had destroyed three tanks (11,906), four armored combat vehicles (24,500), 73 artillery systems (41,117), six MLRS (1,763), and 2,305 operational-tactical-level UAVs (267,589).

Also destroyed were 265 units of automotive equipment and tanker trucks (93,274) and one unit of special equipment (4,151).

Over the past 24 hours, Russia lost 2,657 units of weapons and equipment, including drones.

In total, during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia also lost 1,357 air defense systems , 435 aircraft, 352 helicopters, 4,579 cruise missiles, 33 ships/boats, and two submarines.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, the day before, the GUR revealed the details of a unique special operation to destroy “Akhmat supporters” in Sumy region. As a result of the operation, “Akhmat” suffered the greatest losses since the beginning of the Great War: 41 occupiers were eliminated, and 87 were “trash-hunted”. In addition, more than 100 “Kadyrov supporters” are considered missing.
