In the border zone, the Defense Forces hit a Russian Iskander launcher .

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a conversation with journalists, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform .

Successful defeat

“Today we have another success. We cannot give many details due to the sensitivity of the operation, but the fact is a fact. We hit an Iskander launcher near our borders. I am grateful to our soldiers who are carrying it out. This is our operation to hunt for their systems that are located nearby,” he said.

According to the president, destroying launchers is one way to combat Russian shelling.

“That is, this is one of the ways when we have minimized anti-ballistic missiles – there is another tactic, it is more complicated, we developed it – it is hunting for their close points, from where the ballistics are launched. This is a separate story, a separate program, a separate operation. And today we managed to do it. Our Defense Forces are simply great,” Zelensky added .
