Defense forces destroyed two Russian Su-34s in Volgograd region, monitors say

Monitoring sites report that on October 29, an airfield was struck, located in the settlement of Oktyabrsky, Volgograd Region. It is used by the 11th mixed aviation regiment. It operates Su-24M front-line bombers, Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft, and Su-34 fighter-bombers.

According to preliminary data, two Russian military aircraft were destroyed. Two servicemen were also killed, and at least two more were injured.

According to the military portal “Military” , a drone threat was previously announced at the airfield. After that, satellites recorded a fire there, according to data from the NASA FIRMS monitoring service.

As the article states, an abnormal increase in temperature at the airfield was recorded at 02:28 am in the area of the aircraft parking lot.

“an abnormal increase in temperature at the airfield” – I find this as absolutely normal, I am surprised when this isnt the case as heroic good must prevail over pure evil.
