The Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted two successful offensive operations, during which they de-occupied territories. During the operations, the Ukrainian military also regained positions, seized heights, and established control over important areas.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this on October 4 during a conversation with media representatives. According to him, this is not only about the return of Ukrainian land.

“We had, in principle, two strong offensive operations with the result of the deoccupation of Ukrainian land. The main thing is not only deoccupation, the main thing is to regain the position, seize the heights, control over positions, and much more. The two operations were successful,” the president said.

According to Zelensky, one of these operations was long and covered more than 700 kilometers.

The President also emphasized that Russia is currently unable to demonstrate a positive result on the battlefield.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that the Third Army Corps completed the third season of Operation Vivaldi. During the offensive, the corps regained control of 176 sq. km of Ukrainian territory.
