Explosions were heard in the Kerch area of temporarily occupied Crimea at night. The location of the Russian air defense on the Kerch Peninsula was attacked, and a fire was recorded at the location of the Pantsir-S1 air defense system, which covers the port of Crimea and the Kerch bridge from Ukrainian attacks from the north.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”, which also reported that the port “Kavkaz” in the Krasnodar Territory was under attack by the Defense Forces. And the SBU revealed the details of these and other hits on enemy military targets this night.
The SBU haunted the occupiers in and around Crimea at night
The Service stated that on the night of July 13, special forces conducted a large-scale special operation, simultaneously striking a number of military, logistical, and fuel facilities in the territory of the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied Crimea.
At least 10 targets were hit, including:
- Two patrol boats of project 12150 “Mangust” in the Black Sea;
- Hangars with military equipment and special equipment at the Bagerove airbase in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;
- Three stationary radar stations, which were used by the enemy to detect unmanned boats and attack UAVs;
- Car ferries “Yeisk” and “Maria” at the ferry terminal “Krym” in Kerch;
- Car ferries “Lavrentiy” and “Panagia” in the port “Kavkaz” (Krasnodar Territory, Russian Federation);
- Three tanks of the oil product transshipment complex at the port of Kavkaz;
- Railway warehouse with tanks at the Kavkaz freight station.
It was also the SBU pilots who destroyed the tank farm of an oil depot in the settlement of Vyazniki, Stavropol Krai, Russia, 600 km from Ukraine. OBOZ.UA reported on the spectacular fire at this oil depot this morning.
“The simultaneous destruction of dozens of targets in various remote locations in one night indicates that the SBU is increasing the scale of its long-range special operations. Critical elements of the Russian Federation’s military and oil infrastructure will continue to burn,” the Service assured.
Consequences of the attacks in Crimea

According to Crimean Wind, Russian air defense is deployed there, protecting the illegally built Crimean bridge.
” The Pantsir-S1 air defense missile system is located in this location, which covers the Crimean port and the Kerch Bridge from the north,” the message states.
In general, satellites record numerous thermal anomalies on both sides of the Kerch Strait – both in Crimea and in the Kuban.
The Kerch Bridge was closed to traffic for 11 hours due to a UAV attack, with over 1,600 cars in queues. Traffic was only reopened around 9:00 a.m.
The port “Kavkaz” was attacked in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation
On the other side of the Kerch Strait, the Defense Forces attacked the port “Kavkaz” this night, Crimean Wind claims.
According to the channel, the strikes caused a fire at an oil product transshipment complex and a railway station in the port. Fires are being recorded in the areas around these facilities.
The oil product transshipment complex at the Kavkaz seaport provides transshipment of crude oil and fuel oil. It serves railcars, tank trucks, and vessels.
The terminal’s capacity is about 3 million tons per year.
“Its operation is ensured by oil depots, in particular, divisions of the Yugneftehimtransit company. It includes a tank farm with a volume of about 100 thousand m³ and railway overpasses, where fuel is drained from railway tanks,” writes “Krymsky veter”.
The channel added that the port “Kavkaz” is a connecting link between Russia and occupied Crimea via the Kerch ferry.
“Large volumes of fuel pass through the terminals, intended both for supply to the peninsula and for export,” the report states.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the results of the night operation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Seven tankers, five dry cargo ships, two tugboats and one ferry were hit in the Black Sea. In addition, the “Nebo-U” radar station and the launcher of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system were hit in the area of temporarily occupied Kerch. The General Staff also clarified the results of the previous hit on the Syzran oil refinery.
The General Staff noted that the tankers were used to transport Russian oil and petroleum products in circumvention of international sanctions, the ferry provided military logistics and cargo transportation in the interests of the Russian Armed Forces, and dry cargo ships and tugboats were used to deliver military cargo, equipment and logistical resources. The destruction of the Nebo-U radar and the S-400 launcher should weaken the capabilities of Russian air defense in the east of the occupied Crimea.
As OBOZ.UA wrote, the day before yesterday it became known that the SBS destroyed more than fifty power plants in Crimea and other temporarily occupied territories in 10 days.
In addition to power plants, the SBS forces hit the Saksk CHP, one training ground, a special communications center, and an “enemy lair in Horlivka.”
