Decreasing support from the West for Ukraine is part of ‘Putin’s plan’

Oct 31

“The war did not start two years ago, it started in 2014. And we already have been through the cycle where at first there is all the attention and support and then it decreases. But that’s exactly what Putin is expecting, what he’s planning for.”

Ukrainian MP and leader of the Golos party Kira Rudik says Ukraine’s allies must continue supporting the country even as the Israel-Gaza conflict unfolds.

  1. Because of western recalcitrance, people like Kira Rudik are forced to think the unthinkable. Putler could be slowly gaining the upper hand, thanks to the BRICS, Iran, NK and all the other brutal nazi dictatorships that support his regime.
The Putin wing of the GOP is fighting tooth and nail to divert Ukraine funding to Israel. The Trump-owned Speaker is following his master’s orders.
The $350-500 Bn (depending on which source you read) in frozen putinaZi assets is Ukraine’s best hope.
Forget “reconstruction”; that’s a pipe dream at the moment. The money must be used to enable Ukraine to win.
They are short of pilots to fly the F16’s, at least 100,000 combat troops short, short of modern artillery, short of MBT’s, short of attack drones, short of long range fires and still far short of having an integrated air defence system.

  2. We see that Putler can play the leaders in the West like fiddles. It’s been like this for years. No Reagan, no Churchill, no Kennedy … what a sorry lot we have in high places.
