Decision to attack Ukraine in 2022 will be “fatal” for Putin – Zaluzhny

The former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces compared the actions of the Kremlin dictator to the actions of Hitler.

Dictatorial regimes cannot help but make fatal mistakes, says former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny . According to him, where one single person decides everything, there is no room “for other thoughts.” That is why Hitler’s decision to attack the USSR was fatal, and for Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin, the decision to attack Ukraine in 2022 will be fatal, he writes in an article for UP .

“Exactly 80 years ago, prisoners of one of the largest Nazi death camps, Auschwitz-Birkenau in Oswiecim, were liberated. It was created by the authoritarian regime of a cannibalistic dictator who wanted to rule the world and was eventually defeated. But time will show that dictators are revived, and humanity cannot relax,” Zaluzhny says.

The Ukrainian ambassador to the UK notes that the first war in Georgia in 2008 is “spiritually reminiscent” of Hitler’s annexation of the Sudetenland (Czech Republic) in 1938, and Germany’s seizure of Austria, which was then called “reunification” by the German authorities, is similar to the occupation of Crimea. Both countries held pseudo-referendums.

Zaluzhny also emphasizes that Putin, like Hitler, prepared the country for war for a long time, removing opponents and creating a powerful “propaganda machine”, which is the main point of support for dictators. In addition, they both explained their aggression as “defense against attack”.

  1. Hitler said the nazis don’t need winter clothes because the Soviets would be defeated in a few months. We all know what putler said about the 3 day war.

    • Funny how Hitler was closer to his goal than Putler ever was.
A weird contrast is, the Germans didn’t take winter uniforms with them, but the roaches had parade uniforms. One was as stupid as the other.
