Dictatorial regimes cannot help but make fatal mistakes, says former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny . According to him, where one single person decides everything, there is no room “for other thoughts.” That is why Hitler’s decision to attack the USSR was fatal, and for Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin, the decision to attack Ukraine in 2022 will be fatal, he writes in an article for UP .

“Exactly 80 years ago, prisoners of one of the largest Nazi death camps, Auschwitz-Birkenau in Oswiecim, were liberated. It was created by the authoritarian regime of a cannibalistic dictator who wanted to rule the world and was eventually defeated. But time will show that dictators are revived, and humanity cannot relax,” Zaluzhny says.
