Yeah, we’re ok. We need to be positive and courageous like Ukraine. We were probably the only site on earth that thought Ukraine would win on day one! No need to let the haters bring us down. Just call the Beastie Boys, lol…
Great choice my friend great choice

The then 21 year old Brian Wilson already knew how to arrange four and five part vocal harmonies in the style of The Four Freshmen.
He combined it with Rock and Roll and created the California sound with numbers like Surfin’ USA.
He got sued by Chuck Berry for this particular number, as it plagiarized Sweet Little Sixteen. From then on Chuck got a composer credit.
Just a few years later Brian created, with Van Dyke Parks, one of the most original and trippy songs in history: Surf’s Up. Genius.
I saw Brian’s solo band several times in London following his re-emergence into live shows.
Through contacts, I got front row seats at the Royal Festival Hall. Next to us were Roger Daltrey, Pete Townsend, Paul McCartney and Colin Blunstone!
The audience just refused to let Brian go!
Gee Sir Scradgel, you’re quit the historian. Thanks.
Not really Cap!
I tend to know quite a lot about things that interest me, but not so much about the stuff that doesn’t connect with me.
In terms of music, my tastes are pretty wide. I often meet people who share my admiration of Frank Zappa, or The Beatles, or The Beach Boys, or Albert King, or Fairport Convention, or Wes Montgomery, or Big Joe Turner, or The Move, but never people who love all eight of the above mentioned!
