Rescue and search operations have been stopped in the regional center.

Odessa news is in the spotlight today – after a drone strike by Russian invaders, two more dead were found under the ruins of a civilian facility.

This was reported by the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine. It is noted that during rescue and search operations, the bodies of two more victims were found under the rubble of the destroyed building. “Only three people died as a result of an enemy attack,” the military said.

The Defense Forces also added that the search had been stopped. The ruins are being dismantled and watered.

The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Odessa region released a video from the scene of the incident. It records the terrible fire and destruction that occurred from the explosion.

Let us remind you that on the evening of February 22, the Russian army attacked the Odessa region with unmanned aerial vehicles . The air raid warning continued for several hours in the region. Then it became known that the region was attacked by attack drones of the Shahed-131/136 type. At the same time, the enemy sent missiles of the Kh-31P and Kh-22 types from tactical and strategic aviation aircraft from the Black Sea, but the missiles lost their combat capability in the air. Plus, air defense units shot down 9 kamikaze drones.

Unfortunately, one of the affected drones, which was “intercepted” over the sea, fell on an enterprise building in the coastal zone of Odessa, causing destruction and fire. A female security guard was rescued from the damaged building and was not injured. While extinguishing the fire, rescuers found the body of one deceased.
