Today, December 6 , Ukrainians celebrate an important national holiday – the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was established by a resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 1993.

As is well known, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are responsible for the defense of Ukraine, protection of its sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability. The army ensures the deterrence of armed aggression against Ukraine and repulse it, protection of the air and underwater space of the state.
