Dark city without plans: all over Ukraine tomorrow they will turn off one queue, Odessa still without schedules
Odessa is experiencing its third day of blackout. Electric transport is still not working. By the way, it will be the same tomorrow. During peak hours, passengers will be transported by four huge Mercedes buses from sister cities. https://t.me/odesacityofficial/35453
With the onset of the fan, most streets are plunged into darkness. The streetlights are not lit, and the windows of Odessans are not illuminated. Only in the very center there is illumination, and they try to light the main highways.
What subscribers, that is, Odessans, can expect from Wednesday is completely unclear. So far, emergency shutdowns are continuing in the region, probably the only one in the country. Ukrenergo promised residents of other regions a shutdown schedule from 6:00 to 22:00.
At the same time, there are city residents who either had no electricity at all during this time, or had critically little.
Zoya lives on the street of the Glodan Family. There is no talk of washing or proper cooking. Firstly, the oven is electric, secondly, it is better not to open the refrigerator with the freezer.
“We had electricity for two hours in all three days. 10 minutes yesterday and this morning, first 5 minutes, then an hour and 45 minutes. Somehow I already want at least a little bit of social justice,” complains the Odessa resident.
Her neighbors came out to block Yaroslav Mudry Avenue (formerly Glushko). However, Zoya does not support these actions. She says with a smile that she is too law-abiding and lazy for this.
In any case, this blackout was definitely not unexpected. Well, except for mobile operators. The connection went down in the first minutes after landing on Sunday morning. Everyone had time to prepare. On a budget – with power banks and LED tapes, or in a rich way – with charging stations or generators.
“Yesterday we went to a nearby pizzeria to work and charge our gadgets because there was no power at all. Today we turned it on for 6 hours, not in a row, of course. We won’t be doing laundry for now, and we’re trying to cook for one time. We’re gradually depleting the freezer’s reserves. We couldn’t handle the dumplings right away, so we sprinkled them with flour after they thawed a bit and threw them back in to let them freeze,” the Dobryakovs share their secrets.
Alexey lives in the private sector. During the first blackout, he stocked up on power banks and all sorts of cables for uninterrupted Internet and autonomous operation of his home office. When the prices for generators just dropped, he immediately bought one. He says that now he turns on the generator for 3-4 hours a day – to warm up the house and charge everything.
“A generator is a good thing, but there is one downside – gasoline at 60 UAH. On average, I use up to a liter per hour. That’s why I turn it on for several hours in the evening to warm up the house and charge gadgets. I understand that not everyone has this opportunity. It’s a pity that there is no understanding of what is happening and how to plan your day.”

One way or another, we have survived this thousandth day of the great war. The 1001st is about to come. It will be the 3963rd day of the war with the Russian Federation for Donbass and the fourth day of this blackout.

In Odessa it will not be fine. A storm warning has been announced in the city and the region. Southwest wind of 15-20 m/s is expected in the morning and afternoon. Significant sea swell.
DEATH TO THE RUSSIAN OCCUPIERS!
