Denmark has for the first time identified the United States as a potential threat to its national security, citing Donald Trump’s renewed interest in acquiring Greenland.

This assessment comes from the annual report of the Danish Defense Intelligence Service, released on Wednesday and reported by Bloomberg.

The report highlights a significant shift in Washington’s geopolitical behavior following Trump’s second election as President of the United States.

Officials from the agency note that America is increasingly prioritizing its own interests exclusively, moving away from traditional partnership commitments.

According to them, the United States is now using its economic and technological power as a tool of influence, applied not only to competitors but also to its allies and NATO partners.

“The United States is using economic power, including threats of high tariffs, to impose its will and no longer rules out the use of military force, even against allies,” the report states.

The intelligence officers also point to the United States’ growing interest in Greenland, a territory of the Kingdom of Denmark, as a result of intensifying great-power competition in the Arctic.

Meanwhile, the Danish military intelligence report states that the primary risks to national security are Russia and China.

As previously reported, the U.S. State Department has approved the sale to Denmark of the IBCS combat management system and two of the newest Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) Increment 2 air-defense systems, which have not yet been fully deployed in the U.S. Army, for a total of $3 billion.

  1. If a country like Denmark sees things like this, then it becomes more clear than ever that Trump – aka TACO – has plunged the free world into darkness. One day, very soon, the Trump epoch will be over, then we will be in light again. Until then, Europe and other democracies must stick together more than ever.

  2. Reports are coming out that TACO wants a new G7 type of organisation comprising of the US, China, India and mafia land. His hatred for Europe is very apparent. As I see it, he wants to give mafia land these frozen assets to allow them to rearm and attack Europe, therefore realising his vision of spheres of influence.

      • They just need to hold on to those frozen assets. TACO only cares about money. He’ll lose interest if he can’t grift.

            • I wish they would. Or, at least, threaten to do so.
I know, there’s a lot that we wish the EU to do, but isn’t. Finally stuffing Orb-anus’s fat mouth is one example.

  3. GOP under Bush did 9/11 to change global order. Trump is no better. Assholes keep trying to cause more chaos. Unfortunately neither the US nor the EU are great again. They are suffering from violent sexist terrorist trash abusing the privilege of immigration and asylum to destroy us. Many were hoping Trump would save us, but he will only save Putin – who attacked Ukraine, who sent immigrants through Mexico and Belarus to cause political mayhem.
