Western arms manufacturers use Ukraine as a testing ground for their weapons systems. A state program called “Testing in Ukraine” was created specifically for these needs in the summer of 2025 .
Now hundreds of international companies are lining up to test their developments in realistic combat conditions, Business Insider reports.
Arms corporations seize the opportunity
Andriy Hrytsenyuk, CEO of the Ukrainian innovation platform Brave1, said that dozens of companies are currently testing their systems in Ukraine. At the same time, interest in this opportunity is only growing, and both large defense firms and small startups want to test their systems.
In fact, Ukraine has become a major testing ground for drones and has developed cutting-edge technologies in robotics and autonomous systems since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. The race for drone technology has transformed what was once a battlefield necessity into a burgeoning defense industry that is now being closely studied by Western militaries.
“This is the number one country in the world in the use of drones,” said Hrytsenyuk.
How the state helps Western companies
The “Testing in Ukraine” program launched in July 2025 and is open to companies that produce drones, anti-drone weapons, naval drones, unmanned ground robots, and other defense technologies, including artificial intelligence and electronic warfare systems.
Foreign defense companies that have received permission can conduct field evaluations of their technologies in near-combat conditions, either directly or with permission from Ukraine. Brave1 then connects them with soldiers who, using their combat experience, can recommend changes. Some companies also receive data and feedback from frontline use of the technologies.
According to Hrytsenyuk, this process gives companies the opportunity to claim that their products have been tested, and in some cases, proven their combat effectiveness on the territory of Ukraine.
The British are satisfied with the cooperation
Occam Industries, a British startup that develops artificial intelligence software for drones, has arrived in Ukraine with European-made systems. A company representative said that the software performed well in early testing, but the equipment on which it is installed turned out to be not very suitable for front-line work.
Brave1 connected Occam with Ukrainian manufacturers developing combat equipment. Its software is now being used in conjunction with Ukrainian-made drones and sent to the battlefield.
A company representative said that testing with Brave1 allowed them to “quickly go from what doesn’t work to what does.”
Recall that during the next stage of testing at a training ground in France, NATO, together with Ukrainian specialists, tested a comprehensive technical solution to counter guided aerial bombs.
As OBOZ.UA reported, training facilities for Polish and Ukrainian military personnel are being built at the “Nova Demba – Lypa” training ground in Poland. Poland is engaged in the construction together with Norway within the framework of NATO cooperation.

What does this mean for the cockroaches? It means being inundated by countless types of drones for which they have no answer. They are most likely good drones coming from companies and people who have a great interest in engaging in the newest fad on this planet: military drones, for this is a drone war.
Mafia land are finding out the hard way that Western technology will beat their outdated technology every time.
Isn’t it odd how alike some ruskie aircraft are to Western ones? They’ve always depended on stealing technologies to keep up.
That’s why they’ve been copying our stuff for decades.
