The fourth-largest oil refinery in Russia and the largest refinery of state-owned Rosneft, the Ryazan Oil Refinery, has stopped its primary oil distillation unit after a Ukrainian drone attack.

The AVT-4 facility was urgently shut down on Thursday after it caught fire as a result of a drone attack, Reuters reported , citing industry sources.

The capacity of this installation is 4 million tons of oil per year, or 80 thousand barrels per day, which is about a quarter of the plant’s total capacity.

According to the agency’s interlocutors, the Ryazan Refinery is still refining oil, but in smaller volumes.
