From 500 to 600 windows of apartments in high-rise residential complexes were left with glass as a result of the arrival of two missiles over Odessa on March 25.

The head of the Primorsky district administration, Marat Korolev, said that a few hours after the attack, utility workers began to cover the damaged windows with OSB plates.

“Our employees started helping people close windows and doors in the evening. They worked until 4:30 a.m. and will continue today,” Korolev noted.

According to him, an operational headquarters has been created to help people affected by yesterday’s rocket attack. Employees of the district administration explain to them what documents need to be submitted in order to receive city financial assistance for the renovation of apartments.

In addition, the glazing of the Palace of Sports remained.

“There is no more glass or window frame in our building. Somewhere the ceiling collapsed. There are no more 1,200 square meters of glass in this building,” said Yevgeny Filonov, director of the sports complex. According to him, at the time of the rocket attack, about 50 children were training on the ice arena – hockey and figure skating groups. Before the trainer’s rockets arrived, the children managed to take shelter, so no one was hurt. The director noted that despite the damage received, training in the palace will resume in a few days.

The head of the joint press center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Natalya Humenyuk, noted that the day before Odessa was hit by two ballistic missiles from Crimea. As during the recent tragic shelling , which resulted in the death of 21 people, the occupiers used a double strike tactic – a few minutes after the first explosion, a second rocket arrived at the same place, which could cause casualties among the rescuers. This time, fortunately, there were no casualties.
