Two oil refineries and a plant in Tolyatti were damaged.
The attack on Russia hit two oil refineries in Tatarstan, a plant in Tolyatti, and enemy command posts and logistics facilities, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It is noted that on the night of June 12, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation attacked the TANECO and TAIF-NK oil refineries in Nizhnekamsk, causing a fire on the premises of both enterprises.
The General Staff reported that the TANECO oil refinery complex is one of the largest oil refineries in the Russian Federation, with a design refining capacity of over 16 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces a wide range of fuels and lubricants, including diesel fuel, aviation fuel, and other petroleum products.
It was also reported that the large TAIF-NK oil refinery complex boasts an exceptionally high refining depth. It is noted that, following the launch of the heavy residue deep processing complex, this figure has been declared at over 95%. “The plant processes heavy, high-sulfur crude oil and gas condensate. The refinery’s output is divided into several key segments—from bulk fuels to specialized feedstocks for petrochemicals and military needs,” the statement reads.
Damage and a fire have also been confirmed at the Togliattikauchuk plant in the Samara region. The plant specializes in the production of synthetic rubbers, which are used, among other things, in the production of solid rocket fuel for tactical and ballistic missiles, monomers, fractions, and high-octane gasoline additives.
The General Staff also reported on the aftermath of the June 10, 2026, strikes on the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in Russia’s Samara Region. The refinery reportedly halted operations, and damage to the AVT-4 and AVT-5 crude oil processing units, as well as the RVS-2000 storage tank, has been confirmed.
And the enemy was having a field day on Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian troops struck a concentration of enemy personnel at the Vostochny training ground near Novopetrivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Strikes were also carried out on a field artillery depot in the Rybyantsevo area of the Luhansk region and an enemy logistics depot in Mariupol in the Donetsk region.
As is well known, June 12 is a public holiday in the Russian Federation – Russia Day, since on this day in 1990 the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the RSFSR was adopted.
