On the night of February 24, Ukrainian forces struck key Russian military installations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The targets hit included command posts, ammunition and logistics depots, and a Russian military repair base.
ATACMS missiles were used to destroy some of the targets, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Units of the Missile Troops and Artillery of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked an auxiliary command post of the 5th Army of the Russian Federation near Novopetrykivka in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.
Additionally, a depot for supplies belonging to a Rubicon center unit near Vasylivka, a military territorial water area in Zaporizhia Oblast, was attacked. In the same region, near the temporarily occupied town of Oleksandrivka, the Defense Forces attacked an ammunition depot , and a repair base near Akimovka .
Meanwhile, explosions also occurred near Pryazovsky, in occupied Donetsk region. There, Ukrainian forces struck an ammunition and logistics depot. Near the village of Katsiveli in Crimea, defenders attacked an occupying force concentration area .
In addition to targets important to the Russians, enemy equipment came under attack by the Defense Forces . That same day, near Lyubimovka in the Zaporizhzhia region’s military-industrial complex, Ukrainian forces destroyed an Uragan multiple launch rocket system.
The day before, on February 23, the Defense Forces attacked Russian command and control facilities in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region: a command and observation post and a drone control point near Udachny , and another drone control point near Pokrovsk.
Areas where the occupiers’ forces are concentrated also came under attack . Specifically, near Torske in the Donetsk Oblast’s temporary security zone, Staroukrainka and Novomykolaivka in the Zaporizhia Oblast’s temporary security zone, and near the temporarily occupied village of Berezove in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
On the same day, the Defense Forces shot down an enemy Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system.
As OBOZ.UA reported, fighters from the Ukrainian National Guard’s Spartan Brigade destroyed the Russian occupiers and their vehicles. Video footage of the operation demonstrates the effectiveness of the Ukrainian units’ actions.
Let us also remind you that Ukrainian military intelligence officers, shoulder to shoulder with their counterparts from other components of the Defense Forces, continue to inflict losses on the Russian invaders . They are reducing the number of occupiers on Ukrainian soil along the entire front line.
