Combat medic “Valkyrie” died at the front along with her boyfriend

It is still unknown in which direction the medic died along with her lover.

Valentina Nagornaya, a medical instructor with the call sign “Valkyrie” from the 3rd separate assault brigade’s evacuation unit, died on the battlefield . The brigade’s medical service reported this on its Instagram .

“Our sister Valkyrie is on the shield. With the beginning of the Great War, she joined the Troops “Azov” Kyiv. She saved the wounded as part of medical evacuation crews and at the stabilization point of the Third Assault,” the statement noted.

The medical team added that Valkyrie was an example of dignity and strength, and always wanted to improve her skills to better help those in need.

“Her path is an example for all of us – a path of courage, determination and constant movement forward. Her rank will inspire others to pave their own path. Valkyrie will forever remain a part of the medical service family of the 3rd Separate Airborne Brigade. Her name is forever inscribed in the fight for the Freedom of Ukraine,” the statement emphasized.

At the same time, volunteer Liliya Matveeva reported that Valentina Nagornaya died along with her boyfriend.

“We fought together, we loved together, we are together “on the shield”… May your souls always be together. Forever in the ranks! Valkyrie and Berserker,” she wrote on her Facebook page .
