I’m a fan of knives. Even today, in the 21st century, knives are still a useful and valuable addition to any soldier’s gear. They are not only weapons, but also tools.
I like collecting them also, after my Dad died, I inherited a couple bucks knives. They both have sentimental value as well as are highly useful in many situations at home and in the wild.
I inherited my father’s WW II US Army knife (with original sheath), which I’ve passed along to my son.
I also have Buck knives. They have thick, robust blades and comfortable handles.
