It cannot be done without bribing politicians.

And it is noteworthy that the Western special services do not have the resources to oppose the Chinese network.

According to Western intelligence, China has now “built” a giant army of spies, and the fight against them is complicated by the fact that it conducts decentralized operations, writes the WSJ. Such operations are carried out by many departments and private companies. The methods they use appear unsystematic because they operate largely autonomously.

At the same time, the number of hackers supported by China, according to the FBI, is at least 50 times greater than the number of cyber personnel of the American agency.

“China’s hacking program exceeds the scale of similar programs of all other major powers combined,” FBI director Christopher Urey said at the beginning of the year.

One European agency says that up to 600,000 people may be involved in China’s intelligence-gathering and security operations.

Espionage in the West

The European Union is concerned that China may use Chinese-made cars delivered to the European market for espionage. An internet-connected car “can record everything where it is, and it can also share that data with those who have access to the data,” said European Commission Vice-President for Digitization and Competition Commissioner Margret Vestager.

Earlier, the mass media reported that Russian spies could monitor the training of the Ukrainian military in Britain. Soldiers were warned that Russian drones could fly over British military bases in order to obtain information about Ukrainian troops.
