Beijing has asked Kyiv to refrain from possible strikes on the territory of Russian Vladivostok amid the Eastern Economic Forum.

According to the publication, the diplomatic request was related to a visit to the city by a high-ranking Chinese delegation led by the Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC.
Beijing’s representatives justified their appeal by the need to “ensure security in the region,” which directly borders China and is of strategic economic importance to both states.
