In order for this chaos to disappear, according to Meloni, the war in Ukraine must end.
The explosive situation in the Middle East and the drones over Cyprus are not separate conflicts, but a direct consequence of the destruction of international law.

This was stated by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in an interview with the TG5 TV channel . She noted that it all started with Ukraine, when Russia, a permanent member of the UN Security Council, cynically violated the borders of a neighboring state.
Thus, the Kremlin sent a signal to the whole world that the rules no longer work.
Meloni acknowledged that war had already come to Europe, and to consider these events “distant” is a dangerous illusion.
She noted that as long as the regime in Iran builds up its nuclear capabilities and allies act in isolation, the foundation of global security continues to falter:
“It is clear for Italy and Europe that without the restoration of the law and order that was destroyed in Ukraine, the chaos will only escalate.”

I agree with her but I think it started with Merkel denying Georgia a NATO map in 2008, which in turn gave putler a green light to flout international law 4 months later.
I’d include Bush in that analysis when Georgia was attacked.
From AI:
President George W. Bush strongly supported Georgia joining NATO in 2008, actively pushing for the country to be granted a Membership Action Plan (MAP) at the April 2008 Bucharest Summit. Despite resistance from European allies like Germany and France, Bush advocated for Georgia and Ukraine, arguing that welcoming them into the alliance would advance freedom, security, and democratic reforms.
I’m not sure how to take that Red. Does it mean Bush was completely ineffective in his leadership or like many politicians supports a side he knows will never pass but then he’s a hero. One way or the other this doesn’t impress me regarding Bush. I still feel like he’s like his old man who IMHO stared the problems Ukraine has now
Sure, we all have our opinions, I was just showing you that Bush supported Ukraine getting a MAP in 2008. But IMO he’s still guilty for his response after putin’s invasion of Georgia. I know it was a political year in the USA but he could have nailed russia which would have also affected putin’s 2014 invasion of Ukraine. IMO its all mixed together but I was trying to get some truth for you. Its all good.
Amen Sir Red
